Privacy Policy

What we collect

Using Smoless requires an account, so we collect what's needed to create it and to run the app. We do not run advertising, and we do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

• Account details: your email address and name, shared by Apple or Google when you sign in. An account is required to use Smoless and to sync your data across devices.
• Smoking logs: the timestamps of each "I smoked" tap.
• Profile and progress data you enter during onboarding and use: your daily baseline, goals, and related settings.
• Purchase data: if you subscribe, your subscription status is processed through our payments provider. We never receive or store your full card details — those stay with the App Store or Google Play.

How we use information

• To provide the app: compute your daily count, compare it to your baseline, and suggest goal reductions.
• To sync your data across your devices when you're signed in.
• To manage your subscription and restore purchases.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
• To respond to you when you contact support.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers to run Smoless, and they may only process your information on our instructions:

• Apple and Google — for Sign in with Apple and Google sign-in.
• Supabase — our hosting, authentication, and database provider, which stores your account and app data.
• RevenueCat — manages subscription status for purchases made through the App Store or Google Play.
• The App Store and Google Play — process payments for subscriptions.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect users.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete your logs, baseline, and profile, unless we must retain limited information to comply with legal obligations or prevent fraud — in which case we'll keep only what's necessary.

Your choices and rights

• You can review and update your profile in the app.
• Delete your account and data at any time from the app: open the Settings tab, go to your profile, and under “Subscription and account” tap Delete account. You can also email us to request deletion. See our Help & Support page for details.
• You can request a copy of your data by emailing us from your account address.
• If you're in a region with additional privacy rights (such as the EEA, UK, or California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information.

Children

Smoless is intended for adults who currently smoke and want to cut down. It is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age required to legally purchase tobacco in their country. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
